Want to help out in your local community while earning credits towards your degree and gaining valuable hands-on experience? Then our community involvement internship is for you! We’re looking for people with a knack for finding helpful resources, and are great at organizing events and being engaged in their community! Hours vary as we have many differing available opportunities.

  • Research, uncover, and network with new community resources that can provide crucial services to our families.
  • Network with, and invite other programs who serve a similar population to present information about their services to our Family Advocates at Community Partner Trainings, and Parent Meetings.
  • Participate and represent at community committee meetings alongside the Family and Community Services Coordinator.
  • Help run, plan, and facilitate events like classes, innovative meetings, and other opportunities between parents and networked resource providers.
  • Represent our organization at community events where we can recruit families and attend other events and meetings representing the organization.
  • Other relevant engaging projects as assigned by the Family and Community Services Coordinator
