Content Writing & Journalism Internship

Come gain valuable experience through our Content Writing & Journalism Internship! This internship can be completed remotely and hours are task oriented. Experience with WordPress and Yoast SEO Plugin is preferred but not required. Preference may be given to those who apply early.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator with creating articles and content for the organization website and community newsletters

• Research on relevant SEO trends to help grow web presence for Early Learning Essentials

• Analyze data on insights and trends to reach our target audience

• Create 1 article per week to be posted on the website

• Ability to work collaboratively with Early Learning Essential staff members, interns, and associated individuals

• Understanding and knowledge of the early childhood education field and resources available to families in Utah Valley

• Assist with other related tasks as needed and assigned

Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns who are innovative, self-starters, outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children.

Internships are unpaid and hours vary depending on the internship. Interns may be expected to travel within Utah Valley.

Spanish speaking and knowledge of Hispanic cultures is highly desirable for internship positions but not required.
