Education Internship

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with current projects within the education program
• Help in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) resource room where the children participate in fun hands-on learning
• Coordinate with the Education Staff in delivering educational services to your assigned area
• Be willing to work on other duties as assigned such as: clerical or operational functions
• Assist with classroom activities such as being a classroom reader, helping with classroom events and activities, assisting with bilingual children
• Assist with field trips and classroom events

Come help in the preschool classrooms! We have several different locations you can intern at. Hours are variable, very workable, and flexible. This is a great opportunity for those looking to get hands-on experience working with the community, or for anyone going into the education field.

Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns who are innovative, self-starters, outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children.

Internships are unpaid and hours vary depending on the internship. Interns may be expected to travel within Utah Valley.

Spanish speaking and knowledge of Hispanic cultures is highly desirable for internship positions but not required.
