Equity Research Intern Summer 2027

Eligibility This internship is intended for students graduating in 2027 who are interested in pursuing a career in fundamental equity research and potentially joining MayTech full-time following a successful internship.

Job Description MayTech Global Investments is seeking an Equity Research Intern to work directly with our portfolio managers and investment team. This is a hands-on buy-side research role where the intern will analyze real companies, build financial models, develop investment theses, and contribute to investment discussions. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, passionate about investing, and interested in understanding how businesses work and what drives long-term value creation.

Responsibilities Conduct in-depth company and industry research. Analyze business models, competitive positioning, financial performance, and growth opportunities. Build financial models and perform valuation analysis.

Review company filings, earnings releases, industry research, and other primary-source materials. Develop investment theses and identify key catalysts and risks. Prepare and present research directly to portfolio managers.

Qualifications Expected graduation in 2027. Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in investing and financial markets. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills.

Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented. Financial modeling, valuation, or company-analysis experience is preferred. Relevant experience may come from internships, investment clubs, independent research, entrepreneurship/family businesses, academic projects, or other analytical work.
