About the role:

Our R&D engineers are tasked with designing, developing and testing Electronic Medical Equipment (EME) products for a myriad of divisions across multiple product lines at Boston Scientific. Our team strives to innovate and create a paradigm shift that can solve unmet clinical needs and change what is possible for patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Required Qualifications:

  • Current rising junior (grad dates between Dec 2028 - May 2029). Have at least three semesters of school left post-internship to qualify.
  • Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must be able to start internship on May 17th or 24th, 2027 and work for 12 weeks
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity/experience with injection molding and associated materials/polymers
  • Process oriented
  • Self-starter and self-finisher
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
