Intern Nurse I - PRN

Overview The Nursing Internship Level I provides age-specific patient centered-care. As a member of the patient care team, is expected to take directions from the RN for patient care assignments.

Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Specific course work: Proof of acceptance or current enrollment into an accredited nursing program Preferred Education: N/A Required Licensure/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Less than one year Preferred Experience: N/A Necessary Skills: Decision-making Written & verbal communication Demonstrates teamwork Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply all hospital computer technologies Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions, ability to read/write in English.
