Are you called to serve Christ and others?

Do you believe God transforms lives?

Do you steward the resources God provides with wisdom?

Are you a team player?

Do you care for people, knowing all are made in the image of God?

If you answered “yes” to all those questions, then maybe God is calling you to Intern at The City Mission!

For 115 years, God has been using The City Mission to reach hearts and transform lives, especially among the most vulnerable in our community. We invite men, women, and children experiencing homelessness to participate in holistic, gospel-centered programs designed to address spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical needs. Residents engage in chapel services, case management, life-skills coursework, workforce development, and other programs that equip them for lasting stability and independence.

As staff, we are City Missionaries offering help and hope to all people through the transforming power of God’s love.

We are looking for an Intern to work alongside our Information Systems Manager in the Summer of 2027. The intern will provide technical support to staff, assist with hardware and software deployment, troubleshoot technology issues, and help ensure our systems operate efficiently across the organization. This position offers hands-on experience in IT support, customer service, and technology administration within a nonprofit environment.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Eager to learn and grow professionally
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people
  • Customer service-oriented, with a desire to help others solve technical challenges
  • An effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Able to troubleshoot problems logically and identify practical solutions
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a team
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about Christian ministry and community impact

Must be working toward a degree in a related field.

Applications will only be accepted through The City Mission website (www.thecitymission.org/careers (https://www.thecitymission.org/careers))
