About the role
Trans Ova is seeking a curious, creative, and detail-oriented student to support marketing communications and help strengthen the experience clients have throughout their relationship with the company. This internship combines content creation, research, collaboration, and a structured client journey improvement project.
Responsibilities:
Client Journey & Experience
- Learn the key stages of the client journey, from first inquiry through ongoing service and support.
- Review marketing materials, emails, web pages, presentations, and social content clients may encounter at each stage.
- Speak with approved internal team members to identify common client questions, information gaps, and areas of potential confusion.
- Attend selected events to observe frequently asked questions and identify useful content opportunities.
- Build and present a comprehensive client journey evaluation, including a client-journey map, sample improved materials, and practical recommendations.
Content Creation & Marketing Support
- Create client-focused content including social graphics, captions, educational posts, short-form videos, FAQ materials, checklists, and simple handouts.
- Help prepare content for upcoming campaigns, events, seasonal topics, and ongoing marketing communications.
- Capture, edit, and organize photos and short-form video at selected trade shows, events, and Trans Ova locations.
- Track basic content and campaign performance and keep content revisions organized.
Qualifications
- Upperclassman pursuing a degree in agricultural communications, marketing, communications, agricultural business, or a related field.
- Strong writing, communication, research, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant creative work such as social content, graphic design, photography, video, writing, or other marketing communications work is required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, social media content creation, or similar tools.
- Comfortable taking information from multiple sources and translating it into clear, useful, and engaging content.
- Comfortable asking thoughtful questions, gathering feedback, and incorporating revisions.
- Able to balance independent project work with ongoing requests and deadlines.
- Experience with livestock or animal science, or an interest in animal reproduction and client service, is preferred but not required.
