Graphic Designer Internship Description
Language Scientific, a leading provider of engineering, medical, and technical translation and interpreting services in the United States, is offering a challenging internship in our Marketing Department. The successful candidates will participate in a broad range of graphic design activities, including:
- Design and production of presentations for major corporations and government agencies
- Design and layout of marketing materials representing Language Scientific to targeted markets
- Updating and improving the company’s website: www.languagescientific.com
Language Scientific graphic design interns will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development, and other senior staff on a daily basis, offering substantial opportunities for professional development in addition to the experience of working on specific projects. This is a hands-on position offering the successful candidates front-line experience in the development of a growing marketing department for a leading company in the exciting field of translation services for international business.
Qualifications for the Graphic Design Internship
Qualified candidates will be seniors or graduate students in graphic design-related degree programs. You will be highly creative, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. This is a chance to make an impact, as well as an impression—the work you provide will directly influence the way in which Language Scientific represents itself to a broad range of international markets. We expect a commitment of 10 – 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters, and 30 – 40 hours a week during the summer for a minimum of 3 months. Potentially, regular employment as a graphic designer may result from exceptional performance. US and international students are welcome to apply.
