About the role
- Location:Milwaukee, WI
- Facility:Ascension St. Joseph's Hospital
- Department:Labor and Delivery
- Schedule:Saturday Night shift | PRN
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of a nurse preceptor.
- Take, observe, and document vital signs, patient status, and test results, reporting all updates to care staff.
- Help develop patient care plans by contributing observed clinical data and diagnostic findings.
- Execute assigned supportive tasks, including environmental services and patient transport for diagnostic procedures.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
