Student Nurse Intern Float Pool

• Location: Central Indiana

• Department: Adult Med Surg and Progressive Care Units
• Schedule: Days or Nights | PRN

• Acquires hands-on clinical competency by delivering direct bedside care while concurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Engages in direct bedside patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice.
• Collaborates closely with a dedicated Preceptor to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while gaining knowledge of clinical workflows.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• One or more of the following:
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Preferred Credential(s):
• Nurse Aide.

Education

• High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
