Your Responsibilities

As a Part- Time Student - Facilities and Maintenance Engineer - Part-Time Student for John Deere Engine Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

  • Support the current Facilities and Maintenance Engineering team with capital projects and daily duties

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

  • Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or Electrical Engineering; others may apply.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university.
  • Electro/Mechanical aptitude
  • Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work within 6:00AM to 4:00PM window
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, IA

What Makes You Stand Out
