Additional positions are available to support marketing and secondary market execution. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> Position typically includes summer-ending capstone project where a sample transaction is underwritten by a team of interns and presented to an informal credit committee. <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="height: 219.532px;" width="744"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 47.5938px;"> <td style="height: 47.5938px; width: 729.219px;" width="744"> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height: 171.938px;"> <td style="width: 729.219px;"> <p>The Interns will assist with the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Collaborate with third-party data vendors and clients to request financial and deal information which can then be entered into underwriting software packages.</li> <li>Monitor &amp; analyze market information which can be shared both internally and externally with clients.</li> <li>Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and modeling to support credit analysts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Interact with credit analysts on flow business deals and prep deals prior to them being underwritten.</li> <li>Support Product Development and Modernization team to improve business processes by utilizing various company-approved AI tools.</li> <li>Using various platforms to help source new business opportunities on municipal bonds trading in the marketplace.</li> <li>Update marketing material to help new business efforts across bankers, financial advisors and investors.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="height: 381.688px;" width="751"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 47.5938px;"> <td style="height: 47.5938px; width: 736.219px;" width="751"> <p><strong>Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)</strong></p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height: 140.938px;"> <td style="width: 736.219px;"> <ul> <li>Minimum 3.0 GPA</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and PowerPoint</li> <li>Ability to work on a small team and manage multiple responsibilities</li> <li>Strong willingness to learn new skills</li> <li>Basic knowledge of fixed income or capital markets preferred</li> <li>Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are necessary for some positions</li> <li>While any discipline will be considered, candidates studying finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, information technology, or similar subjects will be prioritized</li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr style="height: 193.156px;"> <td style="width: 736.219px;"> <p>The salary for the position is expected to be from $30 per hour to $32 per hour.
The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast and lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.</p> <p>Note: Housing stipend may be available for interns who will be residing outside of the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) for the duration of the summer internship program (June 8 – July 30).</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
