DHD Films is looking for talented, creative individuals to join our award-winning video production team as interns. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the production industry and will seek to learn more about the industry, as well as gain experience in communications, marketing, pre-production, production and post-production. The internship program will run for ten consecutive weeks, with one week off for vacation.

DHD Films offers an exciting Internship Program providing current students and recent graduates from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in the production industry. Each intern will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and to apply their educational and technical knowledge to real client projects.

Location

The internship will take place at the DHD Films Studio. Interns may be required to complete work at various off-site locations to be determined at the discretion of the internship manager.

Compensation

Interns will receive a $750 stipend upon the successful completion of the Internship Program. School credit will be available upon request in lieu of the stipend. Interns will have the opportunity to receive performance-based bonuses at the conclusion of the internship.

Eligibility

Hiring decisions are based upon an applicant's completed application, past work/internship experience, major field of study, references and any life or extracurricular activities. Ideal candidates will be well-rounded, hardworking, self-motivated, enthusiastic and will bring a unique perspective to the table.

Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the DHD Films internship:

• Proper work authorization to be employed within the United States
• Undergraduate (Junior or higher) and Graduate (MBA, MFA, JD, etc.) students currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited educational institution
• Graduate students must have completed their first year before the start of the Internship Program
• Recent graduates one year or less removed are eligible to apply
• Must be able to work 20 hours per week
• Must be Mac/PC proficient
• Must have previous work experience in an office environment (media industry is a plus)
• Have a strong interest and passion for the film industry
• Must be highly creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, a fast learner, an analytical thinker and a collaborative team player
• Solid interpersonal skills to work as part of a project team and foster collaboration

While each Intern is required to meet the above criteria, certain internship positions may have additional qualifications to be fulfilled as defined by the internship department managers. Please read the internship descriptions carefully to determine what is required for the internship for which you are applying. Ultimately, the successful candidate will share DHD Films' commitment to providing exceptional, high-quality visual communications that drive each client's story forward. You'll be given a high level of responsibility, so it is imperative that the candidate be professional, organized, and creative.

Sales and Marketing Internship

The Sales and Marketing Intern will be responsible for working alongside DHD Films' in-house business development and marketing team. You will assist in sales and marketing projects as needed; including, but not limited to: creating reports, generating leads, written and visual collateral creation, and management of different social channels. You must understand complex analytics in an effort to gain insight into the business, while translating that data into relevant information and possible sales opportunities for internal decision makers. Ultimately, you will be adept at combining your creativity with tangible data to produce sales and marketing initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a high attention to detail
• Expertise and specialized skills in business intelligence and data analytics
• Strong planning and organizational skills with sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Facility to take, internalize and implement constructive feedback
• Experience in Google AdWords (PPC) and Google Analytics
• Working knowledge of social media trends and applications including Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube
• Basic knowledge of a sales process
