About the role
The Shira Teacher leads music sessions in our religious school, building Jewish musical literacy and bringing energy to our Sunday programming. Sessions run on alternating Sundays, about 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in person at the temple. The teacher leads short 20-minute sessions, rotating through the grades, Pre-K through 7.
The vision is a class that feels like a mini tisch: a table, some learning, and music. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves Zmirot, Niggunim, and more. Instruments are a bonus.
