Our Internships

Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns who are innovative, self-starters, outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children.

Internships are unpaid and hours vary depending on the internship. Interns may be expected to travel within Utah Valley.

Spanish speaking and knowledge of Hispanic cultures is highly desirable for internship positions but not required.

Social Media Internship

Our Social Media Internship is a great way to get hands-on experience! Come be a part of our social media team! This internship can be completed from the comfort of your own home, hours are task oriented, so schedules are very flexible! Experience with Buffer, Facebook Business, Google Sheets and Canva preferred, but not required.

• Assist Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator with creating social media posts intended for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn

• Research on relevant social media trends to help grow our social media presence

• Analyze data on insights and trends to reach out to our target audience

• Create 5 content pieces per week to be posted on social media platforms by the Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator

• Ability to meet once a week via Google Meet for a 1 hour check in and collaboration session with the social media team.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other social media volunteers and Early Learning Essential staff members

• Understanding and knowledge of the early childhood education field and resources available to families in Utah Valley

• Assist with various projects as assigned
