This position will assist with day-to-day operations of the SBE office and provide support to faculty, staff, and students. The position is ideal for a student who is detail-oriented, professional, comfortable learning new systems, and able to work independently while also knowing when to ask questions.
Primary
Responsibilities Provide general administrative and clerical support for the School of Business and Economics. Assist with filing, organizing, scanning, copying, and maintaining electronic and paper records. Enter, update, and maintain information in spreadsheets, databases, and university systems.
Assist with preparing documents, forms, reports, correspondence, and other office materials. Provide basic assistance to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by answering questions or directing them to the appropriate resource. Assist with scheduling, meetings, events, and other office logistics.
Help maintain and organize information related to courses, faculty activities, and SBE events. Maintain confidentiality when handling student and staff and faculty records and other confidential information. Assist with maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment.
Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum
Qualifications Federal work study award. This is a work study position. A student with a major within the School of Business and Economics.
Work Environment This position is primarily office-based and involves regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The student will receive training and direction but will also be expected to complete routine tasks independently after training.
