About the role
This position will take care of the pollinator gardens for New College of Florida.
- Create and maintain pollinator gardens on campus (perennial pollinator beds and other pollinator infrastructure (pollinator hotel, puddling area, etc. in the Z-dorm garden)
- Maintenance responsibilities consist mainly of watering, pruning, weeding, and replanting (if plant dies)
- Teach Pollinator Ecology and Conservation
- Coordinate with other garden coordinators to maintain the weekly garden volunteer day
- Attend weekly CGA meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- Student of New College of Florida and must be able to work outside and work well with others who visit the gardens
