Summer 2027 Intern - Highly Flammable

Highly Flammable | New York

Highly Flammable is a production company founded by Academy and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Fisher Stevens, known for his blockbuster successes including the Netflix series BECKHAM, the Apple TV+ feature PALMER starring Justin Timberlake, and the cultural phenomenon TIGER KING. Highly Flammable’s New York team is currently in production on an upcoming documentary series. This internship offers hands-on experience across the filmmaking process, with a focus on production assistance, research support, scanning and organizing archival materials, logging footage, and maintaining clear, detailed production documents. Interns work closely with producers and the research team, contributing directly to the day-to-day workflow of an active documentary production.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about nonfiction storytelling, who is eager to gain practical experience inside a working production environment. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how documentary projects are developed and managed while supporting a high-level, real-world production. There may also be an opportunity to assist the team on scripted development needs.
