About the role
Our Operations Staff options are lifeguards (free certification training provided), ski boat driver, maintenance, kitchen cooks, dining hall prep/reset, housekeeping + camp store, office and other support roles. Job assignments are based upon Phantom Ranch’s need, the applicants’ skills and training outcomes, we also listen to our applicant’s preferences. Summer Staff may be involved in several different roles during their time of service.
Summer Staff applicants need to be at least 17 years old. No experience required! We will provide you with comprehensive training you’ll use at Phantom Ranch and for the rest of your life.
We offer paid positions, flexible schedules, weekends off and a healthy community! Our summer staff work an approximate 40-hour week, starting Sunday afternoon and ending with a staff dinner on Friday. Housing, food, WIFI and fun are a part of our salaried package.
