Now Hiring – Director for the Guggenheim Youth Summer Camp Program
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg is seeking an energetic and dedicated individual for the position of Summer Youth Camp Director at the Guggenheim Center located at: 1468 County Route 18, Saranac Lake, New York 12983.
The Camp Director position is composed of 12 pre-season planning days conducted virtually and in-person with the Director of Youth Ministry. During the camp season, the camp director must live onsite and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the camp including staff orientation week and six weekly camper sessions. (June 20th to August 11th, 2024)
An applicant must be an active practicing Catholic of at least 25 years of age with 24 weeks of camp administrative or supervisory experience or an equivalent experience which would support the position. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in digital technology also required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
