Technical Paid Internship Broom Play at The Player's Theatre Hiring Assistant Stage Manager/Backstage Crew/PA XYZ Theatricals Long Island City, NY US 10/27/2026

Assistant Stage Manager/Run Crew/Production Assistant — *Broom Play* The Production Assistant will work under the direction of the Production Stage Manager (PSM) and help ensure that the backstage area and stage are ready for each performance, and clean up after each performance.

Responsibilities include: Assist with backstage coordination before and during performances. Sweep and prepare the stage before and after each performance. Follow instructions from the PSM and assist with other performance-related tasks as needed.

Help maintain a clean and organized backstage environment. Schedule and Location Location: The Player's Theatre Tech and Performance run: November 1st to November 29th, 2026 Number of performances: 22 Time commitment: Approximately 2 hours per performance.

Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and organized. Comfortable working as part of a team and following direction from stage management. Interest in theater production and backstage operations.

Current students and applicants seeking an internship are welcome to apply. Performances are generally scheduled outside of typical school hours; however, applicants must be available for all 22 performances.
