Role Summary: Work under supervision of CELEB staff to record and edit original music created by Beloit College students, alumni, or community members Characteristic

Duties and Responsibilities: Record vocals and/or instrumentals Edit recordings upon request Help train and mentor other student assistants Maintain organization of cables, microphones, amps, instruments, and accessories Work independently to complete assignments Problem-solve in ambiguous situations Communicate effectively and in real time with supervisor to help resolve problems Coordinate with CELEB staff for availability during special events like Beloiter Days, Music at CELEB, New Venture Night (NVN) Credentials and Experience: Previous experience with audio equipment, editing software, microphones, soundboard, and amplifiers required. Successful completion of MDST 260 required. Demonstrated proficiency with equipment will be considered in lieu of academic record.
