Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns who are innovative, self-starters, outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children. Internships are unpaid and hours vary depending on the internship. Interns may be expected to travel within Utah Valley. Spanish speaking and knowledge of Hispanic cultures is highly desirable for internship positions but not required.

Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator Assistant

Gain practical experience in communications, social media marketing, project planning, and administrative duties! This internship is perfect for anyone looking to enter a variety of business careers. Enhance your skills while making a positive impact in the community! Hours are variable between 10-20 hours per week and preference may be given to those who apply early.

• Assist the Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator in creating engaging social media posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Analyze data, insights, trends and conduct research to effectively reach our target audience and increase our organization’s online presence
• Create five content pieces per week for posting to social media platforms, in collaboration with the COVC
• Look for possible grants and donations within the community. Assist in the application process.
• Attend a one-hour weekly meeting with the Marketing Team via Google Meet
• Collaborate with other interns and Early Learning Essentials staff members
• Assist COVC in other business/administrative duties including collaborative meetings, project planning, and event planning
