All tours begin and end at the Crater Lake Zipline base location in Klamath County
Season: April through October (flexible scheduling for full-time students)
Compensation: $14.05+ per hour DOE + gratuities

Crater Lake Zipline is hiring Seasonal Kayak Tour Guides to lead guests through the crystal-clear waters of Spring Creek, the protected beauty of Malone Springs Wildlife Refuge, and the scenic alpine setting of Lake of the Woods. From peaceful daytime paddles to magical sunset and full moon tours, you’ll guide guests through calm waters while building leadership skills, confidence, and professional experience.
All tours begin and end at our Crater Lake Zipline base location, where guests check in, receive orientation, and return after their adventure.
This is more than a summer job. It’s hands-on experience in leadership, public speaking, teamwork, safety management, and outdoor recreation — all while working in one of Southern Oregon’s most beautiful environments.

Position Summary
Kayak Tour Guides are responsible for leading engaging, and educational kayak tours for guests of varying experience levels. Guides mitigate risk, provide paddling instruction, manage group dynamics, share interpretive information about local wildlife and geology, and create a welcoming and memorable experience for every participant.
Guides serve as outdoor leaders, educators, and safety professionals while representing the mission and values of Crater Lake Zipline.
