About the role
Introduction
NourishCap.com creates educational, documentary, scientific, and artistic shows about health, mind, and mushrooms. Our mission is to expand public embrace of culinary, functional, and practical mushrooms by creating educational content and offering vetted products. By interning with us, you get practical training and real-world projects related to applying your major.
Over the years, we have trained hundreds of interns! We took the time to write this thorough internship description because it answers most of the questions people have and is a preview to how we provide much information throughout each internship. Read this entire description closely and take detailed notes because we quiz applicants about it during the interview process.

Project-based Learning: Learn to communicate persuasively through new technologies, business concepts, and marketing strategies by creating and revising written content for our outreach, website, webinars, explainer videos, and/or newsletters. Discover how to effectively engage our customers by designing various ways to share the wonder of mushrooms and information about our main product, NourishCap.com. You will also utilize startup methodologies such as user feedback and tracking core metrics to gauge customer engagement. Finally, you will learn to use website builder software, customer relationship management (CRM or "database") systems (GoHighLevel), and the Google Suite for business presentations, promoting events, engaging customers, and project tracking. You will have the option to participate in meetings with our current and prospective clients and partners. Your training experience will be aligned with the activities of the company during the time of your internship, so while overarching training and responsibilities will be similar to what is described here, the projects and details of the experience will evolve over time.
Collaboration: The intern will map how our educational and database assets guide prospects, then draft and test outreach angles, messaging, and simple funnels around that content. Apply AI in a vibe-coding spirit: use AI tools to prototype outreach templates, landing sections, and lightweight tracking or analysis, iterating quickly rather than building from scratch. As a form of collaboration, this role helps proofread and quality-check not only its own output but also output produced by every other position across the company, and it maintains clear documentation of its projects, decisions, and results so the next intern can continue the pipeline. Expect ongoing collaboration with the interns in all of the other positions. From time to time you may assist other departments, and you may be redirected to a parallel position when doing so serves your growth and the needs of the team.
Training and Responsibilities: May Include But Will Not Be Limited To
Learn how to adjust content for websites, webinars, and newsletters to engage target audiences and potential clients
Research and implement the best practices to increase traffic and for easy navigation
Configure and make use of business software
Utilize analytics and keep track of success metrics
Practice presenting yourself for business presentations
Participate in a 100% remote environment alongside peers across the globe
Navigate diverse workspaces with varying time zones and cultural backgrounds while maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment
Build strong connections with other interns and staff people through networking, peer collaboration, and other weekly meetings while collaborating remotely.
Attend regular meetings to network and collaborate alongside other teams and departments, preventing isolation and facilitating collaboration
Notes: Think of this internship as an opportunity to apply the skills you've gained in the classroom to real-world situations, not as an introduction to skills or an alternative to classes. Also, look for us to give you the kind of real-world business context and feedback that professors generally cannot provide, not only about your specific skill area but (perhaps more importantly!) feedback from perspectives outside of your major, such as how various other aspects of the business drive needs and decisions for your projects. Think of AI as your intern: if you guide it, you can learn a lot, because teaching is a great way to learn. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it indicates the many projects taking place. You might focus on some of these to the exclusion of others. Tasks and training will change according to business needs.
