Student, Intern, Project Delivery, Summer 2027

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day to day activities, including but not limited to:

• Designing optimum T-Line solutions based on project scoping and site visits
• Utilizing design software to model surveyed field configurations
• Estimating project costs and ensuring material is properly ordered and staged
• Following and providing any necessary assistance on projects in construction
• Processing as-built documentation
• Participating in various meetings to support projects, department business, and safety
• Working on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability
• Responding to equipment failures
• Maintaining models and drawings
• Continuously improving practices through automation Some Travel may be required for the position

Education Requirements:

• Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Civil Engineering (for the duration of their internship) and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond at the time of hire.
• *Preferred: Candidates who will be classified as a Junior, Senior, or beyond (at the time of hire).*
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.
