Eligibility Requirements
- Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current award year
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
- Must be enrolled in at least half-time. (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate) per semester
- Must have a federal need of at least $2,000
- Submit all requested financial aid documentation from your To-Do-List by the due date
- Must have an official award notification from the Financial Aid Office
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible non-citizen, or permanent resident

Job Summary:
Under direct supervision the student assistant will assist with administrative and clerical support to the Teacher Education and Foundations Department to include cross functional support to other areas of the unit as needed.
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, assist professional staff with the following duties which include but not limited to:
- Front Office Support: Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors; answer and route telephone calls; provide general directions and assistance; and respond to routine inquiries.
- Administrative and Clerical Support: Assist with filing, organizing, copying, scanning, printing, data entry, preparing documents, and maintaining general departmental records and materials.
- Faculty and Department Support: Assist faculty and department personnel with routine clerical tasks, preparation of course and meeting materials, and non-confidential departmental projects.
- Office Organization and Supplies: Organize office files and shared materials, sort and distribute mail, maintain common areas, organize office supplies, and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
- Special Qualification: Admission or registration as a CSU student.
Required Qualifications:
- Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative.
- Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate)
- International students must have full-time enrollment at CSUSB. (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate)
- Eligible to work in the United States
